Error when uploading attachment from Gmail to OneDrive

Hello, I tried to create a workflow in two steps to upload an attachment from Gmail to Onedrive.

I created a first trigger step (via Gmail, New Email Matching Search), that works fine, and a second action step to upload the attachment file (.exls) in a OneDrive folder, but I’m getting this error: “Error from halted execution”.

If I replace OneDrive with Google Drive, it works just fine end the workflow uploads the attachment. Really appreciate any suggestions!

Hey @silvia.musa,

Please make sure you are on a paid plan of Microsoft One as it might not work for free plans with Zapier. See more about it here- https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8495920347533-How-to-get-started-with-Microsoft-OneDrive-on-Zapier#connect-to-app-on-zapier

If you are on a paid plan and still it’s not working, please post screenshots of Data In and Data Out as well as how they are configured for us to have more context. Hope it helps!

Hi @silvia.musa

Help link for using files in Zaps: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496288813453-Send-files-in-Zaps

Try using this Zap trigger: Gmail - New Attachment

Hi @Troy Tessalone,

Thanks!

I tried using the Zap trigger: Gmail - New Attachment, but I still get the same error (“Failed to create a file in OneDrive, Error from halted execution:”) when uploading to OneDrive, while the zap works just fine when uploading to Google Drive.

I also tested my OneDrive connection and the account connection is working correctly.

Hi @Sparsh from Automation Jinn, many thanks! I have a paid plan, but Family and not Business or Enterprise. Problem solved :-)
