Error when trying to create a new lead in MYCRM from HubSpot - input validation failed

I am trying to set up a Zap for HubSpot to MYCRM (Loan Market Group)

The connection is working for HubSpot and MYCRM and I have set it up as when a new contact is generated in HubSpot it Creates a Lead in MYCRM. The error code I keep getting is as per the below:

Failed to create a lead in MyCRM Sync

The app returned "Input validation failed.".

What do I need to do to fix this issue? I have done test exports and it downloads all the info I need but whenever I test run the Zap it comes up with this error.

Hi @Ben Taylor

Help us have more info by posting these screenshots:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined
  • how your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible
  • the encountered error

@Ben Taylor

Error indicates the data used to test was not valid.

Try testing with real representative data instead of dummy data.

How do I do that? Sorry new to Zapier. If I enter the name, email etc as fixed data will that not repeatedly pull it through i.e. change from test_firstname to John.

@Ben Taylor

Make sure to test Zap step 1 to get a real contact back from HubSpot to use to manually test your Zap step 2.

OR

Turn your Zap ON and test live, then check your Zap Runs history to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step: https://zapier.com/app/history/
