Hello Zapier Community,

We are using Zapier for LinkedIn Lead Ads and are running into an issue with Pardot not recognizing our custom “work email” field in the Zap workflow.

 

Our Zap produces the following error.

Failed to create a prospect in Pardot

Could not create prospect: Invalid prospect email address. Error code: 4

 

Anyone run into this issue?

Good question.

Hard to tell from the screenshot, but perhaps the value being tested with is not an actual email address value.

Hey again @Dustin VerBeek!

I think Troy is correct -- the data in your screenshot does not appear to be an email address.  You should re-test your trigger to pull in a sample from your account which does have an email address attached and then re-map your Zap so we are looking at the correct on.  More on this here.
