Hi @victortooms,
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the Zapier Parser. Unfortunately, it's not correctly parsing the phone numbers. Here are a few suggestions you could try.
To troubleshoot issues with Zapier Parser, ensure your email template matches the required format, and check phone numbers for special characters or spaces. If problems persist, contact Zapier Support for further assistance or to report potential bugs.
Hi @victortooms
Here’s a possible workaround...
Zap action: Formatter > Text > Extract Phone Number

Thanks Ken. As mentioned in the original post, I’ve already done everything listed in this help doc prior to this posting. I’ve “reported as inaccurate”, “defined extra templates”, and tried all 3 engines with no change.

Thanks Troy. I connected Formatter to Email Parser but am not sure how to setup the Zap. I’m a Zapier baby and the trigger event isn’t showing any options so I’m a little lost.
@victortooms
The Email Parser by Zapier Zap trigger will returned the original email data and the parsed email data for you to use in Zap action steps.
Help link for how to configure Zap action steps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/set-up-your-zap-action
You can use the Formatter step to extract a phone number from the original email body data point returned from the Zap trigger step.
