Date / Time Formatter needs to have a follow up step?

I have a ‘create entry in google sheets’  step followed by a Date / Time Formatter. An error indicates “ Please add another step. This type of step needs to be followed by another.”

What’s the solution here?

    The Formatter or Date / Time in Formatter is a utility step that is used to format dates and times in a specific way. However, it doesn't do anything on its own. It needs to be followed by another step where the formatted date/time can be used.

    Could you please let me know the purpose of your Formatter step?
