Question

Create a simple mapping for drop down values?

I’m working with Hubspot CRM into Dynamics 365 CRM and all I want to do is create a simple field mapping for the IDs within a drop down field. Even though the naming in the dropdowns is the same, we all know that the system uses the ID for each choice. All I want to do is map the IDs appropriately. For example, in Hubspot, choice #1 needs to map to Dynamics choice #800.

Right now when I use the Custom Value from Hubspot, I get an error of:

The app returned "A validation error occurred. The value 0 of 'xxx_globalproductgroupsingle' on record of type 'opportunity' is outside the valid range. Accepted Values: 892230000,892230001,892230002,892230003,89223000...".

I figured this out using a Zapier table where I put the Hubspot values in one column and the Dynamic values in another column. This seems to work as expected.

Hi @trosenthal

Options:

  • Formatter > Utilities > Lookup Table
  • Zapier Tables
  • Airtable
  • GSheets
  • etc.
