Question

CopilotCRM and Xero Zap running into errors

I’m trying to connect CopilotCRM with Xero using Zapier… Copilot creates the job, quotes the job, send the invoice. Client pays the invoice through copilot. Xero records transaction…

the Ai bot said he created it but it never ran… kept throwing errors. never completed test run.

Help please would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Hey @mike7,

Yeah AI is not perfect. Your workflow will look something like this-

  • New Payment Trigger
  • Create Invoice
  • Create Payment

You may have to create two zaps depending the trigger data as creating payment only applies to existing payment. Hope it helps!

Hi @mike7

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined/configured along with any encountered errors.

Hi there @mike7 👋 Did you have any luck getting the Zap setup, or are you still running into errors?

If it’s still not working, can you send over some screenshots of the Zap’s setup as well as the errors you’re seeing when testing? That’ll help us to get a better idea of what’s preventing it from working correctly. Be sure to remove any personal info like names, emails etc. before sharing as this is a public space (you can use a tool like Zappy for that).

Looking forward to hearing from you!
