Constant Contact error: The app returned "email already exist for contact."

I have a zap set up to create a contact in constant contact from a squarespace form. If the user has already filled a different form and their email added to a different constant contact list, it will not add their contact to the new list as well. It returns an error saying that email already exists for contact.

Try these Zap action steps:

Action: Constant Contact - Find/Create Contact

Action: Constant Contact - Update Contact (map the contact ID from the previous step)

Check the field description.

You need to map the Contact ID returned from the previous step.
