When trying to grant Admin Consent for Zapier in Entra, I’m unable to find the applications permissions requested:  TeamSettings.Read.Group  Member.Read.Group  Channel.Create.Group and ChannelMessage.Read.Group.

I’ve searched through the Graph API, the 365 API, etc.  Nowhere to be found.  Even had a Microsoft Support person get on and he gave the app all kinds of permissions throughout those APIs and we could never get the app to take the permissions in the Teams Admin porta under Manage Apps, Zapier.  He did allow permissions you would think would “cover” those above, like TeamSettings.Read.All  but that didn’t help.

Any ideas?

Hi @ChrisNW,

Welcome to the Community.

If you're having trouble granting Admin Consent for Zapier in Entra due to missing Microsoft Teams permissions like "TeamSettings.Read.Group" or "ChannelMessage.Read.Group," it may be due to a mismatch between Zapier's requested permissions and those available in your Teams setup. Ensure your Teams version is current, and consider reaching out to both Microsoft and Zapier Support for further assistance and clarification.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with.

Hi there, @ChrisNW 👋

Just came across this thread and wanted to check in. As Jammer suggested, reaching out to our Support team to request additional permission scopes for the Microsoft Office 365 app is the best way to flag it to our engineers so they can look into adding those.

In the meantime, what triggers and/or actions you’re wanting to use with the Microsoft Office 365 app? I can’t see a list of the permission scopes for each app on my end, but the Microsoft Outlook seems to offer similar functionality to the Microsoft Office 365 app, so it might be worth giving it a try to see if that allows you to grant the desired permission scopes when connecting your account.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
