Everytime I try to connect Constant Contact to Zapier, a modal window comes up then disappears before I can approve anything

i have actually tried this already, without success. Moved from Chrome to Safari. Went into incognito mode. This allowed me to get to the point of entering my Constant Contact  username and password, and clicking ‘Allow access’ - but then nothing else happens. The connection is not made.

Hi there @Nic Shepherd,

Could you please double-check the "Apps" page at https://zapier.com/app/connections and see if the connection has been created? Additionally, could you please confirm if you have the correct permissions in Constant Contact? You must have the Account Manager role according to Constant Contact.

Hi Ken, thanks for getting involved here. The connection is showing on Apps page, but is not connected. See attached screen shot.

I am an administrator of the Constant Contact account.

This was previously a SharpSpring account, before SharpSpring was acquired by Constant Contact, and is not called something vague like Lead Gen and Automation, but the log is through the Constant Contact website. Do you think that might have something to with the problem?


I see SharpSpring is still listed on Zapier as an integration, let me try going with this one… 

 


Yup! That seems to be the answer. Zapier still sees SharpSpring as a different app to regular Constant Contact. 

Problem solved. Thanks for you assistance. The official support from Zapier has been pathetic.
