Hi everyone,
I’ve set up a Zap to connect Facebook Lead Ads to another app. The Zap is working fine for new leads, but when I reach the step to Transfer Existing Data, I click the button and nothing happens — no error message, no loading, just no response.

I already have leads collected in Facebook Ads, and I’d like to process those historical leads through the Zap. Has anyone faced this issue before? Is there a workaround or something I might be missing in the setup?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi there @lpnrpa,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

It looks like you’ve reached out to our Support Team about this and they replied today with a suggestion. I’ll share details of the suggestion here in case it’s helpful:

Are you able to go to the Transfer page and let me know if you see what you expect?

If you aren't seeing what you can see in your account, can you submit a test lead using a unique email address to check the permissions from Facebook's side?

  1. Go to Facebook's Leads Ads Testing Tool (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lead-ads-testing/) and select your "Page" and "Form".
  2. Click on "Delete Lead". (Don't worry! It won't delete any live leads, just Facebook's example lead.)
  3. Click on "Preview Form".
  4. Fill out your form like normal, but use test+contact@zapier.com as the email address.
  5. Click the "Track Status" button.
  6. Review the section below "Track Status" for any errors or messages.
  7. Send me a screenshot of the results.

If you see a message like "CRM access has been revoked from Lead Access Manager" in the test results, you should be able to fix the issue by following these steps: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/540596413257598

Let me know once you have had a chance to get to the above, I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

Warm regards,

If you’ve got any questions regarding their suggestion it would be best to continue the conversation with them over email. If you can’t locate their reply I’d recommend searching your spam/junk folder or searching your inbox for any emails from zapier.com in case. Sometimes their emails can end up in the spam/junk folder by accident.
