Bettermode authentication error: "Failed to generate Zapier access token"


Hello, 

I’m started with Bettermode, in a setup that strongly requires Zapier automations. I’ve try to setup my zaps with Bettermode today.

Unfortunately, everytime I try to connect my Zapier to BetterMode, I get this following message (see screenshot).


I’ve seen other similar messages by users, but there doesn’t seem to be a valid fix ?

This is quite frustating as it’s a complete blocking point for us : if we can’t use Zaps, paying for our Bettermode plan is basically useless, especially since we’re a small nonprofit.

Otherwise, try contacting Bettermode Support for help with their Zap app integration.

Did you manage to get around that error by connecting via a different or private browser as Troy suggested? Or were Bettermode’s Support team help to get it working?

If not, I found an old Community post where the same error came up before:

The developers of the Bettermode app released a fix for that issue last year, so I’d recommend reaching out to our Support team to flag that the issue may have resurfaced. You can contact them here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
