Question

Authentication with ID [number] either doesn't exist or is not visible to the provided user error with Pipedrive connection and note creation

Hello community,

I am experiencing an authentication error when my agent tries to create a note in Pipedrive. The error message is:

"Authentication with ID [number] either doesn't exist or is not visible to the provided user"

I have already:

  • Reconnected my Pipedrive account in Zapier
  • Confirmed I have admin permissions in Pipedrive
  • Ensured all required fields are filled

Please help me resolve this so my agent can add notes to Pipedrive deals automatically.

I just fixed this issue for a client.

Make a new Pipedrive Zap app connection here: https://zapier.com/app/assets/connections

The newest Pipedrive Zap app version is 3.27.1.

Then update your Zaps using Pipedrive steps to use the newest Pipedrive app account connection.

How did you get on with the fix Troy suggested? Did it resolve that “Authentication with ID [number] either doesn't exist or is not visible to the provided user” error?

The error in your Zap's Pipedrive integration may stem from incorrect API credentials, insufficient permissions, or an issue with the Zap configuration. Verify that your API key is correctly entered and has the necessary access. Check Pipedrive's documentation for API requirements and test the connection using Postman to rule out setup errors. Ensure all Zap fields are correctly mapped and formatted before retrying the automation.
