I am creating a woocommerce zap. During authentication i received the following error

We hit an error adding your new account

authentication failed: request to https://.dendearts.com/wc-zapier-auth/v1/authenticate failed, reason: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND .dendearts.com

  1. Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup
  2. Double check your Account has the correct permissions
  3. Check out our help docs for more information

I followed all the instructions from this page

https://docs.om4.io/woocommerce-zapier/usage/#authenticate

I added my website, username (in this case I used my email address), and I used the application password.

I checked the plugins I have and do not believe this is an issue. Am I missing something?

Regards

Hi there @Calado,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

I did some digging into our notes, and it seems like one of our users ran into the similar issue and here’s how they fixed it:

One user said that they were trying to connect to a temporary launch site, but when the website went live it was a different address and they were able to use that address to connect successfully.

Hopefully, this points you to the right direction! 😊

Hey there, my website is dendearts.com and is currently live, so this should not apply to my issue. thank you.

Hi @Calado,

Thanks for letting me know!

This error could be related to the WooCommerce plugin being incorrectly set up. WooCommerce has a great help article on how to tackle this issue. Here’s the link and the screenshot of the similar error: https://docs.om4.io/woocommerce-zapier/troubleshooting/#authentication-errors

Hey there, @couragebansah5 - thanks for letting us know!

Are you having trouble connecting to Zapier and are building a WooCommerce zap? If so, I’d recommend giving some of the troubleshooting referenced in the thread a try and letting us know how that works for you. 🙂

Otherwise, I’m happy to split this off into another thread so we can tailer the conversation towards your concerns.

Let us know! 🤗
