Hi,
We are seeking to pull information from Mailchimp (like e-mail opens, cliks, etc) to Pipedrive in order to update a deal/contact with this data.

However all the e-mails I want to pull acitivity data from are built in the new Customer Journey builder in Mailchimp. Whenever I try to set up the zap, I can only pull single campaigns, or find automations built in the Classic builder. Does that mean Customer Journeys in Mailchimp are not supported for zaps?

And has anyone then found a workaround to pass email activity/engagement data to a CRM (Pipedrive)? when the e-mails are all placed in the Customer JOurney builder?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Novicell

Available Mailchimp Zap app triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/mailchimp/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Zap trigger: Webhook - Catch Hook

Hi @Troy Tessalone

Thanks for the reply - not quite sure if it answers my question though.

Does that mean that automations bullt in the new journey builder is NOT supported?

And moreovrer, do you then suggest I use a webhook to pull in the enagement data i Pipedrive instead?

Thanks,

@Novicell

There are available Mailchimp Zap triggers for these:

  • Link Clicked
  • Email Opened

Have you tried configuring and testing Zaps with these Mailchimp Zap triggers?

Hi @Novicell,

We just wanted to see how everything is going with your Zap. Did Troy's recommendation get the job done? Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance with your Zap. We're glad to address any concerns and assist you.

We're looking forward to your response.

Hello! I am also unable to use the Link Clicked trigger with emails built in Customer Journey’s. Only classic automations are showing up. Is this on the feature list? Any workarounds? Thanks!

Hi there @Friday,

Unfortunately, emails built in Customer Journey is not supported when using the Link Clicked trigger in Mailchimp. A possible workaround is to build a journey that ends in a webhook call:

Then you can use that journey to kick off a Webhooks by Zapier trigger in Zapier.

Hopefully, this helps.
