But whatever I do in zapier, it still an outdated URL. Is there any workaroudn to fix this?

Hi @EK7
Provide more details about how your are trying to use attachment links in other Zap steps. (screenshots + examples)
Hi Troy,
so basically I have a airtable with 3 categories (Name, Description, Attachment). In the zap I just select the attachment field as the source and link it to the specific field in that linked to the ghost field (image).
The problem is that Airtable URLs only expiring for exact 2 hours for safety reasons, so I am looking for a workaround BUT i dont get it that Zapier hasnt an inbuilt function, because it literally implies that it does something to hinder that
@EK7
For us to have more info, post screenshots showing the Ghost field you are trying to configure in the Zap step so we can see the field type and tooltip (click the field label if underlined).
If it is a file field type, then using the link from Airtable will be fine, because Ghost will upload a file, thus creating a new file that is hosted by/in Ghost.
Are you talking about this?
@EK7
From the screenshot for the “Feature Image” field, it’s unclear about the field type and there is no tooltip to reference.
If you are trying to use a link from another app to be the feature image in Ghost, then that link needs to be a publicly accessible direct download link.
Since Airtable links expire after a short period of time, you would likely have to host the images on GDrive or another cloud drive, and use links from those apps instead of links from Airtable.
You can add a Google Drive Upload File step on your Zap for you to be able to upload the Airtable file to Google Drive.
Hopefully, this helps.
hi there, I always get this issue when I upload it to google drive:
This is my zap
I have reached out to the support but they couldnt help me so far
Hi @EK7,
If you see a "File not found: sharedWithMe" error in Zapier when uploading to Google Drive, it likely means the file or folder is shared with you but not owned by your connected account. To fix this, ensure proper sharing permissions, verify the folder path, and consider moving the shared file into "My Drive." You can also try reconnecting your Google Drive account or testing with your file. If issues persist, reviewing Zapier logs or contacting support may help resolve the problem.
