I cannot test my data properly because Airtable is not syncing quickly enough.

Here is my zap. When I test everything with older data, all the tests clear but nothing gets updated in Airtable. It shows that it should have but it’s not reflected in Airtable as a new date and time.

Then when I try to do it with new information, it doesn’t find anything in Airtable at all which makes me think the sync isn’t going to even work because it’s not reading the data quickly enough.

I am at my wits end I keep running it over and over and testing and it says it should be working then doesn’t. Please help.

When it does show me the data out, it is also not the correct time.

As you can see here there are no updated times or dates in this field but in the output below it shows that the field should be updated.

Hi @DanielL

For us to have more context, post screenshots showing these:

  • how Zap step 2 is configured in the CONFIGURE tab with the search criteria
  • how Zap step 3 is configured in the CONFIGURE tab with the fields that are being updated

Hi there, @DanielL! 👋

How are things progressing on this—were you since able to get this solved on your own?

If so, would you be up for sharing some details on what the solution was? This would be super helpful to others facing similar issues that might come across your post in future. 🙏

And if it’s still unresolved, just send over some screenshots as Troy mentioned and we’ll be happy to assist further. Make sure to blur or remove all personal information (names, emails, addresses etc.) from screenshots before sharing - you can use a tool like Zappy for that. Asking for further screenshots as it’s not clear from the existing screenshots what value is being used to search for the record in that Find Record action and we can’t see where the Chapter Interview in the Update Record action is getting the date value from. Being able to see that will help us to identify what’s causing the issue here.

Thanks, I look forward to your reply! 🙂
