Hello guys, I’m fairly new in Zapier and really strugling with this one.

After a Google Form Submission, I create a new folder.
The folder is created and named after one of the fields submitted on the form.

The problem is when I try to copy the files submitted with the form to the newly created folder.

When I test the step (or when I published without testing), I´ve got an error.

Can someone point out where is the error in my configuration?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Possible Disservice

Help link for using files in Zaps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/send-files-in-zaps

Make sure it’s the correct combo of Drive and Folder ID.

Make sure the link used for the File is for a SINGLE file.

Make sure the link to the file is a publicly accessible direct download link.

If there are multiple, then you will need to use the Looping Zap app to iterate: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/integrations#help

Hi @Troy Tessalone ,

Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately everything you asked seems to be ok:

  1. Make sure it’s the correct combo of Drive and Folder ID.
    - I think it is (or should be). The folder in question is located using the Step 2 variables, like this:

  2. Make sure the link used for the File is for a SINGLE file
    -  In this case, it is a single file.

  3. Make sure the link to the file is a publicly accessible direct download link.
    - I’ve corrected that (the directory was restricted), but still getting the same error.

Any ideas?

BR,

Try turning the Zap ON and testing live end to end, then check your Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

If you still have issues, post screenshots of the Zap Runs data.

Hey @Possible Disservice, just checking in to see how you’re getting on—did the Zap continue to error when it was switched on and you did a live test?

Happy to lend a hand if you’re still stuck at all, just let us know! 🙂
