Has anyone done integrations with Pipedrive?  My challenges are around grabbing data from custom fields. For type = User, Dates, and text no problem. Contact, or I think Pipedrive calls the type = person I get no data.

Hi @bdesilva,

Welcome to the Community.

To resolve issues fetching custom "person" fields from Pipedrive in Zapier, ensure the fields are correctly set up in Pipedrive and mapped properly in Zapier's Set Up Action step. If the fields don't appear, allow time for syncing, especially with large data sets.

I hope this information helps you with your concern. Let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi JammerS,

The are correctly setup in PD afaik and it’s only the one custom field type that doesn’t expose in Zapier.

Hi there, @bdesilva 👋

I’d have thought that you’d be able to access person custom field types as well. We’re only able to get the first 500 custom fields though so if you’ve got more than that that might be why some of the fields are missing. 🤔

Do you think that might be the case or do you have less than 500 custom fields?

If you’ve got less than 500 custom fields can you confirm which Pipedrive trigger or action the custom fields are missing from? And can you share some screenshots of all the custom fields that are coming through as well as the custom person fields in Pipedrive that are missing? Please blur/remove all personal information (names, emails, addresses etc.) from screenshots before sharing—you can use a tool like Zappy for that.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I got it working this weekend. They don’t expose the same as User and other type fields. The custom field name brings back no data. Have to paste in the api hash and then search comes up with it. Yea!

Thanks.

Hi @bdesilva, I'm having the same issue with accessing the custom fields. Could you share the steps you took to be able to get data from the fields, or maybe the codes you used?

Thank you very much. I'll be waiting for your reply.

Hi Nahzdangata,

In Pipedrive under settings you’ll find Data fields. Find the field you want and choose the three dots then copy api key . In your zap, paste that key into the search box after you hit the Plus button on the field you want to assign.
