We have a hidden Trigger in our app, which is used to form a dynamic field in another Action event.
As I understand, the default logic is this:
- User starts to create a new Zap
- he chooses some Action event with a dynamic field in it
- user presses continue on a Setup step
- On a configure step Zapier sees a dynamic field and calls our API /get_dynamic_field endpoint to get data for the dynamic field
- Zapier shows the Configure step to the user and draws dynamic form for user to map data.

So usually this API endpoint /get_dynamic_field called once or twice, which is normal behavior when user manually creates a new Zap or edits existing one.
But we have some anomaly in our logs recently. We have intervals when this API endpoint /get_dynamic_field is requested like every second for an 1-2 hours, which looks more like automated behavior.
I don’t know why and how this is happening. Is there a way for a user to somehow spam Hidden trigger? Is it possible to automate Zap creation, so Zapier itself tries to spam this endpoint?
Thanks.
