Clarification on Fundraise Up Connector Behavior (Real‑time vs Batch)

i want to understand how the Fundraise Up connector behaves within Zapier. Specifically, we want to understand the data‑processing model so we can design our integration correctly.

Could you please help answer the following?

  1. Does the Fundraise Up Zapier connector fetch events in real‑time, near real‑time, or batch intervals?
  2. If we require true real‑time event processing (e.g., donations, recurring payments, checkout activity), is the standard Fundraise Up Zap trigger sufficient?
  3. Or, to achieve real‑time behavior, do we need to use “Webhooks by Zapier” instead of (or in addition to) the Fundraise Up connector?

We are trying to determine whether the built‑in Fundraise Up triggers already deliver real‑time updates, or whether the webhook approach is recommended for lowest latency and fastest event delivery.

Hi @DataStackJD

Most Zap app integrations are created/managed by the app developer (not Zapier) using the Zapier Developer Platform, so you may want to try reaching out to Fundraise Up Support for help with their app, Zap app integration, and API/webhooks.

Help link from Fundraise Up about their Zap app integration: https://fundraiseup.com/docs/zapier/

The integration works in real-time using webhooks.

When events occur in your Fundraise Up account, data is sent to Zapier immediately so your automations can run without delay.

The Fundraise Up Zap app integration triggers are all INSTANT. (see screenshot)
