Does any have any experience with sending out emails using Zapier email? I need to send out 200 emails in a fairly complicated process using multiple tasks. If I set a dealy in the ZAP for 6 minutes, will Zapier mail send them out continously or will the 10 emails per hr cap kick in and stop my ZAP?

Sorry. The title should read “Zapier mail - If I send an action “ Zapier for email” every 6 minutes, will the 10 emails per hr restriction block outgoing emails”

Seems as if I can answer my own question. I added a 6 minute delay in the ZAP just before the task “Email by Zaiper” and now the ZAP’s specific tasks have all been throttled back with a message that they are held…...So I guess that is not a viable solution. After the tenth email, Email by Zapier throttles back and sends out the email less frequently.

Hi @OnlineInterpretersWorldwide

Good question.

Sounds like you’d be better served using a proper email app, such as Gmail or a transactional email app: https://zapier.com/apps/categories/transactional-email

I do….but the chllenge is to attach a dynamically personalised pdf to the email ...in the form of a download url which has a limited validity date. ….Most email apps cannot handle attaching a pdf from a dynamic url directly to the email……… like Zaipier for email does…..

@OnlineInterpretersWorldwide

Gmail supports attachments in emails.

We’d need to see screenshots to have more context about what you are referring to related to the attachment.

@Troy Tessalone  - appreciate your time. Finaly gave up on using Zapier for email. Loaded the pdfs onto dropbox with predfined format of file names that I also zapped to the SendInBlue Customer record. Then I defined a mailing campaign with a link to the required file...Voila. Done.

Hi @OnlineInterpretersWorldwide

I’m glad that you found something that works for you! I will mark your response as the best answer, however, many email apps that have integrations with Zapier can support dynamic attachments. You can check them here: https://zapier.com/apps/categories/email

And if you ever want to explore this further, you can reply back and we’d be happy to help!
