Hello everyone,

I’m trying to use Zapier Formatter to remove dashes in phone numbers e.g 080-8888-9999

But I’m unable to achieve this as I can’t find the right syntax to use, what should I use to achieve this?

Thanks!

Hi @andrew.guo

Good question.

Try using Formatter > Text > Replace

https://zapier.com/apps/formatter/help

Hi @Troy Tessalone

Thanks for the response, I am trying to use the Replace function in Zapier Formatter but I couldn’t figure out which syntax to use e.g [:space:]

Do you know which syntax I should use to replace dashes? I’ve tried dash, hyphen and minus but none of them worked for me

Thanks!

@andrew.guo

What are you trying to replace the - with? (space or empty value)

Can you show the input value and desired output value?
