So I have a group of Line Items that I converted to text which was retrieved when finding multiple rows in GSheets. They are suppose to be in GSheets like this as only part of the record is duplicate. Agent Name and Email and then the rest of the record is different. But basically I need to send each Agent an Email and not send them multiple emails. I am using these line items individually for another purpose earlier in the Zap so I cant deduplicate or eliminate them before finding the rows or right after pulling them into Zapier. Any help is appreciated.
Hi
Can you please provide screenshots of how your Zap steps are configured in order for us to get a better sense of what you are trying to achieve, thanks.
Hi
I have actually extracted the names and emails using Line Item Itemizer. Now I just need and easy way to get rid of the duplicates. I only want to send each one email to each recipient not duplicate it.
That will likely involve a Code step: https://zapier.com/apps/code/help
Perhaps try some GSearches on the topic as you might be able to find some Code to copy and use.
I’ve done this before and have the code, if you’d like to hire me for the job, please send me a DM.
I am happy to discuss hiring you but I dont need or want a Gsheet option I have a list of Names and Emails already in the Zap I just need to get rid of duplicates then I can email the the parties. I cant believe Zapier doesnt have a simple Zap to deduplicate some text or Line Items.
Without seeing screenshots of how your Zap steps are configured, it’s tough to evaluate and advise.
You can submit feature requests to Zapier Support here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
I cant post the information its peoples private information. Its just line items with Name and Email but there duplicates. Its strange Zapier no native way to remove duplicates apparently. This is the last step the Zap has already done everything else I needed so in the end I grab the names and emails from previous steps and wanted to email each one but there is duplicates and there should be for the previous steps as the are all different orders. But anyway. Thank you.
Code step will be the way to go to remove the duplicates.
