Have spent 12hrs trying to get this to work. I could have done it in 5min with .asp/sql
I need to take records from my table where “GPT_TITLE” = NULL
Collect URL and record ID
Pass the values to anthropic to run a prompt which gets the URL title summary and a few other fields.
Then take that data and put it back into tables for the proper record ID…
We have tried converting the repies to XML, Markdown, using javascript, python, etc,, we can get the dataout to be in the proper fields, but never goes into the db.
I have a claude api key and have the account active here, just this will not work.
Hi
Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing:
- how your Zap steps are outlined
- how your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible
Hi there,
Just came across this and wanted to check in—how are things progressing? Were you able to find a solution?
If not, it’d be really helpful if you could share some screenshots as Troy mentioned, so we can get more context on the current set up and what might be causing the trouble here. Be sure to blur/remove any personal or sensitive info like names, emails, API Keys etc. before sharing.
Keep us posted, want to make sure you’re all set!
I was not able to find a solution and ended up just cancelling my sub and doing things manually via claude’s console
your hooks got in a loop and ran up the bill
I’m so sorry to hear that,
Not sure what setup you had previously, but in case it helps you—or anyone else reading this thread down the line—sometimes adding a filter to the Zap can help prevent an accidental Zap loop and avoid unexpected task usage. If you ever decide to revisit this though, feel free to reach back out. I’d be happy to help troubleshoot or explore a new approach.
Also, since you’re already working in Claude you might want to take a look at Zapier MCP, as it might be a better fit for what you’re looking to do. You can learn more about it here: https://zapier.com/mcp.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help!
