Hi. I have 25 “held” Zap runs because I was on a free trial and hit my 100 Zap limit. I just upgraded to the “Starter Plan” and should have plenty (500+) runs available for the rest of October.
So do I just do a bulk run for the 25 held? What is the best way to get back on regular automation and clear up these held runs. Thanks.
Ok, thanks Troy. And now it is saying 16 are “throttled”
Does this mean they will run at some point? And what about new subscribers...will the Zap run for them? Given that I just started my subscription, I have ~700 zaps available for this month so there should be plenty of capacity.
Throttling is discussed below. I don’t see anything saying that a Starter plan should get “throttled” for 25 tasks. If I am wrong, please point me in the direction of where it is explained on why I am being throttled.
Sure. Please see attached (not sure if detail within each Zap is needed). So we’ve had a few new subscribers today. Zaps for those individuals went through w/o an issue. It is the 25 that were stopped while we were on a free trial. Only 9 of those 25 have been run, 16 are held due to throttling.
Error: Sorry! That is too many emails sent. Please try Mandrill, Mailgun, Gmail, or others for bulk email.
To prevent the Zapier Send email action from being used for spam, Zapier throttles the Send email action.
If you’re on a trial or Free plan, the limit is 5 emails per Zapier account per hour.
If you’re on a paid plan, the limit is 10 emails per Zapier account per hour.
If your needs exceed this, you'll need to use a dedicated email sending provider like Gmail, Mandrill, Mailgun, or Sendgrid.
