Wrong Last Modified Date Is Not Allowing Automation to Trigger

A
I use Zapier to connect my Google Drive to other applications. The automation triggers when a new file is uploaded to Google Drive. However, sometimes the Last Modified Date on Google Drive is wrong (days, weeks, or months prior to upload date). Therefore, the automation does not trigger because it assumes the file was uploaded at an earlier date.
 
Is there a way to make the Last Modified Date on Google Drive change to the Upload Date?
 
OR
 
Is there a way to make Zapier recognize the file upload even though the Last Modified Date isn't the day of the upload?
 
NOTE: we are using a Shared Drive on Google Drive.
