Workaround for sending emails from Outlook in Zapier

I had a Zap setup to send stuff to Evernote when I sent email in Gmail but there is no trigger for sending an email in Outlook.  Does anyone have a workaround for this or can this added as trigger?

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

Hi @tboggiano,

The Microsoft Outlook app supports the “New Email” trigger which will trigger the Zap when someone sends an email to you in Microsoft Outlook.

Is this the trigger that you’re looking for? If not, please let me know and I’d be happy to assist further!

No, I got that, I want to have it send the emails I’m sending to Evernote automatically.

Hi @tboggiano,

I’m sorry, but I don’t quite understand the workflow you’re trying to achieve. Could you elaborate a little? What is your end goal with this Zap? Would you be able to outline it step-by-step? If you can phrase it in the “When A happens in Service X, B should happen in Service Y” format.

Thank you!

When Send Email from in Service Outlook.com, Create Note should happen in Evernote.

Hi @tboggiano,

Thank you for the clarification.

Based on your workflow, you should be able to achieve that by setting your Zap like this:

  1. Trigger: Microsoft Outlook - New Email
  2. Action: Evernote - Create Note

Hopefully, this helps.
