Looks like it isn’t currently possible to add an issue to a project using Zapier. Are there any workarounds anyone knows of?

Hey @rc27! Sorry we didn’t get back to you sooner. Truth be told, we were busy digging trying to find out what was up here.

So here’s what I now know: Github Projects is a beta feature (details from Github here: https://docs.github.com/en/issues/trying-out-the-new-projects-experience/about-projects) which explains why there isn’t a ton of information on it yet. I just dug through the API data myself (here: https://docs.github.com/en/rest/issues/issues#create-an-issue) and there’s currently no way to create an issue attached to a project at this time using Github APIs… and therefore no way to do it with Zapier either since we utilize the same APIs.

I’m feeling pretty confident that as Projects moves out of beta and into primetime, Github will add more API functionality and Zapier will too!
