I’ve received the following message from Zapier by email:

“You're now using tasks above your plan's limit

“Hi Mark,

You've surpassed your subscription's task limit. Don't worry! Your Zaps will stay on.

From now until the end of your pay period, each additional task used will be billed at a higher rate of 1.25x the price of a task on your subscription.”

I’m currently paying US $239.88/yr for the ‘Professional plan’ which (apparently) shows that I have “Unlimited Zaps’.

I’ve just turned off 3 Zaps so I only have 3 Zaps running.

How can this mean that I’ve surpassed my subscription’s task limit?

Surely that is an error as otherwise I’m going to be extremely disappointed and I’ll have to start looking for an alternative to Zapier.

I look forward to you reply.

Hi there @Mark Dawes,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Regarding the email you received about your task usage, I’d recommend reaching out to our Support Team directly—they have the tools needed to take a closer look at your account details.

You can contact them here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hopefully, this helps.

Hi Mark, While your plan includes unlimited Zaps, Zapier charges based on tasks, which are the individual actions within each Zap. Even a few Zaps can quickly use many tasks if they run often or have multiple steps.

I recommend checking your Zapier task usage report to identify which Zaps are consuming the most. I can help optimize your Zaps to reduce task usage and avoid extra charges.

Let me know if you'd like me to review and streamline them.
