Hi all,

I would like to achieve the below scenario using Zapier. Please provide your suggestions.

“Upload a file in Dropbox and need to send the notification email to multiple email addresses from Mail-chimp along with the Share file download link in the email.”

Thanks in advance!!

Hi @Saravanan

It sounds like you want to trigger your workflow when a file is uploaded into Dropbox, is that correct? That alone shouldn’t be a problem but you will have to set up multiple zaps if you upload files into multiple folders.
https://zapier.com/apps/dropbox/integrations

That should return the share link. If it doesn’t, I would check the share settings of the folder.

From there, your next action would be to create the campaign so that you can pass in the share link from above as well as any other content

Lastly, you will send the campaign that was just created using the Send Campaign in Mailchimp action. There is just 1 field in this action. You need to pass the ID that was returned from the previous step.

Hi @GetUWired thanks for the update. Looking for the same. You are correct. Is that possible for us to trigger notification to multiple email address from Zapier from the same Zap?

@Saravanan

It should be possible. Is it a static group of people receiving the email and is this an email from Mailchimp or something like Gmail?

@GetUWired It should be a static group of people needs to receive an email from Mailchimp. In that email we need to share them the dropbox share file link.

When creating the campaign you can specify the audience/segment of the audience the campaign should go to. As long as the group of people is segmented in Mailchimp then it shouldn’t be any problem.
