Understanding LinkedIn CAPI setup costs with Zapier

Let me give you an example with a 4 step sample zap  .

1. Trigger: New Opportunity in Salesforce (Free)

2. Action 1: Formatter by Zapier to hash the user's email (Consumes 1 Task)

3. Action 2: LinkedIn Conversions: Send Conversion Event (Free / Exempt)

4. Action 3: Send a Slack notification to the team (Consumes 1 Task)

In this scenario, even though the LinkedIn CAPI component is free (it is free on the Free plan as well), running the full Zap will consume 2 tasks from the client's monthly plan quota.

Hi @IIC Lakshya

Reference the info outlined here for LinkedIn Conversions: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/25393517708557-Track-LinkedIn-Conversions-for-free-with-Zapier

Hey @IIC Lakshya 👋 Looks like integratenautomate and Troy have got you covered here!

Just a small correction on the example shared above: Formatter actions don't count towards your task usage, so that example Zap would only consume 1 task, not 2.

The LinkedIn Conversions step itself is indeed free across all plans. The help article Troy linked to has more detail on that. 🙂
