I am unable to find the UUID of an event in my Outlook calendar to fill Zapier’s item field, so that my Outlook events trigger and update my Notion calendar. What should I fill the the item field with?

Hi @julia.polanco2

Looks like the value has a leading/trailing single quote ‘ which is likely the issue.

Can you post a screenshot of how Step 2 is configured?

Yes, I believe that was the issue, but I can’t find another option that doesn’t have the single quotes included. I also tried typing it in… is there another piece of data I should put in there?

@julia.polanco2

You can use a Formatter > Text > Replace step to remove the single quotes from the value.

Thank you, do I do that stepin Zapier or Outlook?

@julia.polanco2

If you can control the value formatting it in Outlook, then do it there.

Otherwise you can do it in a Zap step: https://zapier.com/help/doc/how-use-formatter-functions

Hey @julia.polanco2, hope you’re well, I just wanted to check in here!

Were you able to get things working with the info from Troy, or can we still help out? :)
