Twitter: Messages too long - possible to extend to multiple tweets or thread?

I’m having a zap that creates a tweet when a new row is added to a spreadsheet. However, sometimes the text from the spreadsheet exceeds Twitter’s character limit. Is it possible to have the spillover text automatically added to a new tweet, basically creating a twitter thread?

Or some other workaround so that longer content can be automatically tweeted?

Hey @lazyguac! Troy is correct in that this currently isn’t possible. That said, it looks like we have an open feature request for creating a Twitter/Tweet thread that I’ve gone ahead and added you to. If/when this gets added, we’ll email you as well as update this thread to let you know. 🙂

Hi @lazyguac

Good question.

The Twitter Zap app can’t be used to create Twitter threads.

Also, if you’re trying to truncate text based on character length, then that will likely result in words that will be trunced in half.
