For a Zap that uses the HubSpot Form Submission trigger, is there a was to manually trigger the Zap to run for an existing record?  This Zap was turned off by accident, and we missed processing several form submissions.

Our only current solution is to recreate the form submissions.  But the form has over 150 fields, so we’re looking for a way to avoid having to recreate 10 submissions at 150+ fields each.  Is there a field value on the HubSpot record that we can reset, or is there a way to make the Zap call HubSpot for a specific (already existing) record?

Have you tried using Zapier’s Transfer ability? I’m not sure if a Hubspot Form Submission is a supported trigger though.

@Geoff RSM

When we had a similar thing, the only way I could solve it was with a single use zap that took the data from a google sheet and ran it through the workflow.

You may be able to use a New Custom Object Property Change your hubspot records and run a similar thing. Otherwise you could export to a spreadsheet like I had too.

Thanks @DavidLGS  -- I wasn’t aware of that feature.  That’s exactly what I’m looking for, but unfortunately HubSpot is not (currently) supported for it.  I’d mark this as Best Answer except that my question is specifically about HubSpot and “Transfer Existing” isn’t applicable with HubSpot.

@Badger   -  That was our Plan-B - to add a HubSpot field to be used to trigger manual sync’s, and create a Zap that triggers on the change of that field.,

I wish Zapier had an option to display the schema name of the HubSpot fields instead of the labels - the field labels in HubSpot are geared to the web form they’re displayed on and range from ambiguous and non-unique to lengthy full sentences.

Hey @Geoff RSM. I’m so pleased you were able to get a workaround in place—great work on that! 🙌 And a big thank you to @DavidLGS and @Badger for helping out here! 🤗

I did some checking on this end and couldn’t see any existing feature requests for the ability to see the schema name of HubSpot fields, or to have HubSpot supported by Transfer so I’d suggest contacting our Support team to submit feature requests for those. You can do that here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help. That’ll flag the need for this to the team so that we can begin tracking interest in those features and get them added.

For anyone who comes across this thread in the future, I wanted to share this guide: Transfer existing data using a spreadsheet. It gives details of how to import existing data from a source app that isn’t supported by Transfer.

Hope that helps! 🙂
