I am trying to find a way to set a trigger so an inbound email (to gmail) that can be sent to multiple mailboxes in the same domain (i.e. client managers) will trigger the same zap

Hello @crelis

I'm Patricia from the Zapier Support team, pleased to see you in the Community.

It appears you're attempting to set up an automated email response to multiple recipients once a specific email arrives. Have I got that right?

If so, you could create a Zap that triggers off a New Email Matching Search, as shown here: https://cdn.zappy.app/d2fdeae92143dd4d37e504b5da1ac718.png. You can then include the desired email addresses in the CC field.

One thing to bear in mind is the source of your client managers' information, as this needs to be added to your action step.

I hope this gives you a good starting point.

Hi @crelis

Try this Zap action: Gmail - New Email Matching Search

Click the field labels to see tooltips that provide guidance.

Make sure to specify only email in the inbox.

Obviously I did not explain the issue correctly - I will try again

The activity we try to use as trigger is a repeated email from the same mailbox (also can be identified by search) that is received by multiple email addresses of our domain (the emails of the Case Managers).

I was hoping to create a SINGLE ZAP that will be triggered by any of these email being received by any of the Case Manager (a list of mailbox addresses)

I hope this is clearer

Thanks again

Coby

@crelis

Zap steps can only use 1 app account.

If you are trying to trigger from different Gmail app accounts, then you would need to use separate Zaps.

If the emails are received by the same 1 Gmail app account, then you should be able to configure the multi search logic in the Zap trigger: Gmail - Email New Email Matching Search

If you still need help, for us to have more info, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode, and details specific examples for us to follow.
