Transfering Recording From Zoom to Drive

Hi there! I'm trying to transfer my Zoom recordings to a shared drive on Google Drive, but the files are being uploaded as a zip file. I need the recordings to maintain their original file extensions in order to share them properly.

Hi @Tech Pantera 

Good question.

You’ll likely need to involve another app/API to first unzip the files.

Look into using ConvertAPI: https://www.convertapi.com/zip-to-extract

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks app: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

Were you able to figure this out? I’m having the same issue. I tried the ConvertAPI but I cannot figure it out.

If you’re still having trouble we’d love to help you out! Can you please create a post with the details of your Zap? Screenshots are extremely helpful as we cannot see into your Zap ourselves 😆. Please be sure to remove any personal information (email addresses, last names, etc.) before posting!
