Suggestion for time entry service with organisation scope integration with Zapier? (Clockify and Toggl do not work)

Hi,

We have used Clockify (and to a lesser extent Toggl) to record employees working times. We just found out it is impossible to integrate with Zapier and boil all employees data down to our central data hub, Airtable.

We are therefore looking for another browser SaaS solution, one that would allow us to pull all employees’ time entries over an organisation scope integration.

Should be easy to use, browser (Chrome) add-on preferred, mobile use also possible.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Björn

Hey @BjörnE,

I think Harvest has an integration. See more about it here-https://zapier.com/apps/harvest/integrations

If you are already using Toggle Track you can also configure it to trigger on a workspace for new time entries and sync to Airtable. Make sure to have the admin permissions in that and invite all the other user’s to that workspace. Did you try that as you say Toggl does not work.

Team wide reporting is usually available on the paid plans rather than the free one’s.

You can check all the time tracking software integrated with Zapier here- https://zapier.com/apps/categories/time-tracking

Depending on your exact needs sometime you need to access the API using Zapier if there are no actions/ triggers to get your desired workflows.  Hope it helps!

Thank you @Sparsh from Automation Jinn for your reply.

Toggl uses the same authentication (looks exactly the same) as Clockify with a personal API token. Based on that I assumed Toggl wouldn’t work either. I tested now, and it behaves the same way as Clockify, you can only get your own time entries.

Clockify has been confirmed by Zapier not work on organisation scope. Toggl looks the same, so does Jibble.

Zapier’s blog posts do not address this topic, so unless somebody knows that a service works, there’s no point going through lists.

Rgds,
