I sell various membership and get paid through Stripe. How do I trigger a Zap as soon as someone purchases a particular membership (e.g. description of the purchase within Stripe is “Thrive45+ Community”)?  Thanks!

Just wanted to follow up here to add that in order to trigger a Zap when a specific membership is purchased you’d want to use the New Event Stripe trigger. That trigger will allow the Zap to trigger on all new subscriptions when the New Customer Subscription Signup event option is selected.

Then, as Troy mentioned, a Filter by Zapier step would need to be added to check whether the subscription purchased contains the text “Thrive45+ Community”. If the Filter didn’t find a match then the Zap would halt and no further actions would be taken. So it would only continue to run subsequent actions for subscriptions to the “Thrive45+ Community” membership.

More details on how to set up Filter steps can be found here: Add conditions to Zaps with filters :)

Hi @Wellness & Yoga with Christine

Check out the available triggers/actions/searches for Stripe: https://zapier.com/apps/stripe/integrations#triggers-and-actions

TIP: You may need to add a Filter as step 2 in the Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help
