Hi I am trying to get a HubSpot deal being populated to trigger the generation of a STRIPE payment link from stripe into a deal record.

As it stands now I can get Zapier to accept my deal trigger, but I cant get it to create a link for me, it just keeps erroring and doesn't really give me very good intel on what the error means, even with AI.

Has anyone done this use case before?

When that payment link is used and paid up, for this deal to move to a closed paid stage (I will do this on Hubspot side).

Hi @Pickers ,

Can you share a screenshot of the error?

First, I agree with @jayeshkumarbhatia, we need a screenshot of the error, or at the very least, tell us what the error message says.

But in addition to that, what do you mean in your last sentence? Are you having trouble linking the ‘”payment made” action to move the Hubspot deal?

Lastly I’d ask, why not just use Hubspot Invoices, which can be natively set up with Stripe?

Hi there, @Pickers! 👋

I just came across this and wanted to ask whether the error you’re seeing is “This application does not have the required permissions for this endpoint on account acc_id] Having the 'read_write' scope would allow this request to continue”? If so, it could be that you’re running into a bug that’s also being discussed over here:

If you are getting that error please let us know so we can get you added to the bug report. And if you’re running into a different error, then can you share a quick screenshot of the full error message you’re seeing? Make sure to blur or remove all personal information (names, emails, addresses etc.) from screenshots before sharing - you can use a tool like Zappy for that.

Looking forward to hearing from you on this!
