I’m setting up a Zap so that when someone joins my monthly membership, they’re added to ActiveCampaign and tagged with a “member” tag (so I can segment and automate onboarding emails later).

However, there’s a possible conflict in how I set up the Zap — I also have an “open shop” on my site that integrates with Stripe as well.

I want the Zap to trigger when someone joins the membership, but DON’T want it to trigger when someone makes a general purchase in the shop. In other words, I only need this to fire in very specific instance.

At first, I thought setting the Stripe trigger to “new customer” would work, but it will get gummed up with general shop purchases.

Should I use “New Event in Stripe” as the trigger? Is there a better way to do this?

Hi @Happy Gymnastics

Try adding a Filter to your Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help
