When creating a zap to move a file in an AWS S3 is there a way to specify a folder within a bucket?

Hi @zbakker9

I want to add files to a folder

In Amazon S3, folders are designated by the key name.
For example, if you upload a file with the key images/sample1.jpg then it will show in the Amazon S3 console as a file sample1.jpg inside a folder images.

Thanks for the reply Troy. That makes sense and I’ve updated my zap.

My plan is to create a snowpipe from Snowflake to run whenever a file is moved into the S3, but I believe it will only pick up on new file names. Any chance you know how to make the file name dynamic? Something like adding the date on the end so that the file name would be different every time the zap runs?

Hi @zbakker9

Seems as though that requirement would have to be done in S3 before the Zap triggers, which is outside my area of knowledge and expertise unfortunately.

Try some GSearches on the topic.
