Hi, I am new to Zapier and set up a zap so that all files that are attached to my Shopify orders are saved into a Dropbox folder. For each file saved, I want the Order # and attributes (like Height, Width, and Quantity) to be saved as part of the file name. This helps me process the easier quicker without having to reference Shopify.

When an order has more than one file attached, Zapier is zipping the 2+ files into one folder. The problem is that it does not save the individual attributes (ie: height, width, quantity) to the individual files in the zipped file.

Instead, you can see (in the screenshot attached) the zipped folder name has the height and width for BOTH files that were submitted as part of Order #1032. When you drill into the zipped folder, the individual files (which are the .png files on the right of the screenshot) do not show the height and width and quantity of each file.

How can I ensure these attributes are saved to the individual file names, not the zipped folder name?

Hi @Dalma3,

Welcome to the Community.

Zapier can't save multiple Shopify order files with unique names directly. Instead, it zips them together and names the zip file with the specified attributes. To customize file names, you can use a custom code step in Zapier to rename files individually before saving them. This approach may require technical expertise.

Hi there, @Dalma3👋

The Upload File action is designed to upload a single file not multiple files so I expect that’s why they’re being zipped. If you place that Upload File action inside a loop, then you could upload each file individually with the relevant order number and attributes. 🙂

If you’ve not worked with loops in Zaps before you can learn more about how to set them up here: Loop your Zap actions

Hope that helps to get you pointed in the right direction. If you run into any issues or have further questions just let us know!
