Question

setting up a subscription based discord channel

I am trying to set up a paid section in my discord channel. I am looking to add a reoccurring subscription button linked to paypal. When the customer signs up for the subscription service and competes a successful sale in paypal then zapier would assign them a premium role.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @LPAT - Thanks for joining us on the forums! I see that you’re trying to make a Zap using Paypal and Discord. I would suggest checking out this Zapbook here that shows you what Triggers and Actions are available: https://zapier.com/apps/paypal/integrations/discord. I’m thinking that maybe you can try the following:

  1. Create the Zap using Paypal’s “Successful Sale” trigger
  2. Then add Discord’s “Add Role” action
