Sending Daily Emails Based on Google Sheet ONLY if there is an update

We are a real estate team and I’m trying to automate a solution to send showing feedback to clients in an email every day that there is an update. The problem that I’m running into is how to NOT send data that they already have or just… a blank email.

I’ve found a way to send all of the data every day no matter what, I’ve found ways to send the email EVERY time there is an update in the sheet but I haven’t found a way that will allow me to send (for example) a 2pm email with the updates, only if there are updates.

Has anyone built a solution around this before? I feel like it could be used in a lot of other industries as well so I’m sure someone has thought about this.

Hi @KCC Real Estate

Good question.

Try using Airtable instead of GSheets.

Airtable has a Last Modified field type that can be used to track specific fields or all fields for a record.

Airtable has Views, which are segments of data. (sort, filter, show/hide fields, reorder fields)

Airtable has Automations.

Airtable Automations can be scheduled to run at a specific time.

Airtable Automations have a native integration with Gmail.

Airtable Automations can automatically include a table or list of records.
