When i create a Patreon step i don’t see a way to get “Shop” event, so i suppose “New Pledge” is the correct one. It works for subscriptions but doesn’t get any “Shop” purchase, is there a way to make a zap that gets purchase event from the “Shop”?

Welcome to the Community.

 

Zapier's Patreon integration doesn't support a "Shop" event trigger, only "New Pledge," "New Member Pledge," and other triggers. This means you can't create a Zap that triggers Shop purchases directly. Alternatives include using webhooks (if Patreon supports them), third-party integrations, or Patreon's API to capture and send Shop purchase data to Zapier. Testing is recommended to ensure proper functionality. You can also request that that feature be added by contacting Zapier support.

Hi, thank you for replying. I’m not sure how much time it will take to include such support so i guess i have to find a different way. I don’t really know how webhooks or Patreon’s API work so not sure what to do. I think Patreon’s API is something you need to include under your own website and i cannot do that since i only use Patreon itself.

You don’t need your own website to use Patreon's API with Zapier. Simply create a webhook in Zapier, add its URL to Patreon's API settings to send data, and set up a Zap to process events like new patron sign-ups. If this feels too complex, consider hiring a Zapier Expert or using Patreon's Zapier integration.

I managed to set up a webhook on Zapier but i think, since Zapier doesn’t support Patreon’s Shop yet, that i still cannot get Shop’s information (due to that API part missing), or am i wrong?

Yeah i should probably hire somebody but i’m currently trying to understand first, since i don’t really want to spend my money without knowing if i can achieve my final goal.
