send mail when a file is downloaded from google drive

Hello,

How can I do an automation that sends an e-mail notification when a user whose google drive link I shared downloads the file I shared?

Good question.

You’d probably have to use an app that has file download tracking, such as DocSend.

These are the available GDrive actions:
