Question

Selecting lookup fields from Airtable

Hi all,

I’m trying to send an email from my Airtable via Zapier.

To retrieve the email I want to send it to, I want to select a field “email”, which is a lookup field in that specific table.

I’ve read the Zapier help page telling me to add a column with a formula to turn the lookup field into a text field but that didn’t work, neither with a simple =Lookup field, nor with a subsitute(lookup field).

In the dropdown menu to select the receiver of the email, the field is blank, i.e. “no data”.

Any help on this?

Would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Make sure you’ve selected a good example to configure the Zap and test with that has data for the desired column (email).

Hi @oceanseleven ,

Checking in to make sure you are set with this Zap! Did adjusting your sample data do the trick here?
