Zap workflow:

  1. Fetch RSS Feed (showcases up to 11 images per item)
  2. Formatter by Zapier (seperating the images)
  3. Create a record in Zapier tables (since i want to add the ‘continue’ button to manually approve the continuation of the Zap)
  4. Continue Zap - Tables
  5. Send images to Creatomate

Problem / Desired situation:

For Creatomate we only need 5 images max. However, before sending the images we want to pre-select which images to use. It could be for example that images number 1, 3, 4, 8 & 10 will be used. This needs to be selected manually.

What type of adjustments or other integrations would you recommend that we first get (a notification in order) to select the correct images and afterwards pressing the continue button? Or even before transferring the data into the table to pre-select the images...

We now added a new step (now at step 4.); it is an email that will be send to us in html with <img> in order to display the images (from link to visible image). How can we now ‘select’ the images (max 5 and the order of them)?

Hey there @HugoT! 👋

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I think the ideal scenario would be to add the images into the table with a checkbox beside each that you could use to select it as it would allow you to view and select them more easily, but that’s not currently possible.

How are the images added into the table currently? Are they added into separate fields or a single field? If they’re in a single field could you maybe remove the images you don’t want to select while reviewing them?

Or perhaps you could use an app like Trello and add the images to a card as attachments? Then you could edit the card to remove the images you don’t want. Then click the continue button on the table to continue the Zap? Do you think that could work?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this!
