Scraping data from a website and writing them down

Hello, I would like to scrape some data from a webiste. The are kind of sports betting data and the website is geting updated once a day. I simply need to read (get) the data and write them down into Spreadsheet.

Do I get it right that Zapier only can connect two existing apps, meaning I need to use some app to scrap / read the datas? OR  Zapier can help even with reading it?

Thanks

Santiago

Hi @Santiago,

Welcome to the Community.

Zapier doesn’t have built-in web scraping, but you can use third-party tools like Apify (have Zapier integration) to extract and send data to Zapier. If the website offers an RSS feed or email updates, Zapier’s RSS or Email Parser can help. Alternatively, Google Sheets Apps Script can scrape data and trigger Zapier workflows. Once the data is extracted, Zapier can automate pushing it into a spreadsheet.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.
